Email us your photo of Stirling Castle and you could win a Stirling Castle Tartan tie and scarf worth £25 It’s a magnificent place that appears in huge numbers of pictures every year, but most of them are only ever seen by a very few people. So we would like to share some of your shots with a wider audience.

All you have to do is email your picture to matthew.shelley@scotland.gsi.gov.uk and mark it Stirling Photo competition. We will pick our five favourites and print them in a future edition of the newsletter. And the person who sends the one we like the most will get a tie and a scarf in the castle’s exclusive and attractive green and gold tartan. Entries need to be in by 5.30pm on Thursday, 12 November.

Only emailed photos will be accepted – we don’t want to run the risk of a precious print or slide getting lost.
