Stirling Castle to enjoy the sounds of Take That, The Script and The Stereophonics
Stirling Castle will be enjoying the sounds of Take That, The Script and The Stereophonics later this month. They are amongst a number of artists whose songs are to be given the ‘Heart of Scotland’ choir treatment, when the singers and sopranos in red take to the stage at the castle’s Great Hall later this month.

Stirling Castle launches new online facility for children and their families
Young visitors to Stirling Castle will be able to learn more about it with a new, interactive section on the Castle’s website; Kids Castle. Fun and educational, it is designed to help children and their families discover more about the iconic landmark before, during and after their visit.

Historic Scots play to be performed for first time in original format since 1554
Tomorrow, Friday 7th June 2013, will see Linlithgow Palace Peel returning to the 16th century to provide the historic setting for the first ever full-length production of Sir David Lyndsay’s drama, A Satire of the Three Estates, which will be performed in its entirety for the first time since 1554

New visitors bible presented to Stirling Castle
A new visitor’s bible was presented to Stirling Castle at the weekend.
The castle was presented with a visitor’s bible and a display bible in November 2011 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible.
