A Treat to Eat

From wild boar sausages to Caesar salads – we’ve introduced a brand new menu at the Unicorn Café.

Unicorn cafeNext time you are up at the castle drop in and taste the difference. There’s a super new deli bar, kids’ size meals and plenty of choice for vegetarians. Our new caterers, Benugo, also run the cafes at a whole series of other top attractions including the V&A and the Natural History Museum.

Gillian MacDonald, the castle’s Executive Manager, said: “The Unicorn Café has a fantastic setting and it’s great to sit outside in the summer sunshine and enjoy something to eat and drink. “We hope the new menu will help the café an even more enjoyable part of people’s visit to the castle.”

The emphasis is very much on fresh food and local produce, with a real dash of imagination to offer snacks and meals which are just a little bit different. They also love to dish up traditional Scottish favourites such as fish pie or haggis, neeps and tatties. So whatever your tastes, we hope that you’ll find something to tempt you.
