Tell Us Your Memories and Win a Prize

All over the world there are people with special memories of Stirling Castle, and we’d love to hear about them. My Stirling Castle is a new area in our website to share your personal memories of the castle.

Does the castle hold special childhood memories? Perhaps there was a happy family visit, a romantic moment, a surprise encounter – or maybe you were involved in one of the many events that take place at the castle. The possibilities are endless.

A reconstruction drawing of the palace.

As an example of the sort of unusual and interesting recollections we would love to hear about, read Jim Statter’s story on how he first got to know the castle when he was a solider.

All stories will be entered into our competition to win an engraved Stirling Castle pewter quaich and a selection of stories will be displayed in My Stirling Castle.  Entries need to be 250 words or less and on the theme of My Stirling Castle.
