Come up to the castle to get your shopping underway with great gifts and treats from our Christmas Shopping Fayre. There will be plenty to buy, plus super ideas, along with cooking demonstrations and fun with characters from the MacRobert’s panto.

Taking place on 1st December in the magnificent surroundings of the Great Hall, the evening will be a delightful mix of stalls from local and national suppliers. The log fires and our beautiful Christmas tree will create a special atmosphere.

There will be a chance to meet writers David Robertson and Morris Heggie, and illustrator Peter Davidson, the team behind the Sunday Post’s ever-popular Broons cartoon strip, and get a signed annual. Fans can even buy the new jigsaw and CD.

You can go wild at Blair Drummond Safari Park – who have great gift ideas, like the chance to be an animal keeper for the day. Then there will be the team from the Rainbow Rooms hair salon, plus Jennifer Morrison Florist, Sheila Fleet’s Orkney jewellery, Trees for Life and many more. Shoppers can buy delicious treats from whisky and haggis to hand-made chocolate truffles. There will be festive cookery demonstrations from benugo, our award-winning caterers. Characters from this year’s MacRobert’s panto, Snow White and the Seven De ’Wharffs will also be coming along.

The Christmas Shopping Fayre is on 1st December from 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Tickets are £5, including parking plus tea or coffee. Entry is free for children under 16 but they must be accompanied by an adult.
