Brahms in the Great Hall 2010

Join us to hear some of the finest musicians in Scotland play Brahms and Mozart in the atmospheric surroundings of the Great Hall. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra are regular visitors to Stirling Castle, where audiences take delight in the chance to enjoy a summer evening of classical music in truly royal surroundings.
This year they will be able to enjoy Mozart’s Don Giovanni overture and Violin Concerto No. 5 ‘Turkish’ along with Brahms’ Serenade No. 1.
The concert, which is at
8pm on Thursday, 17th June, 2010, will be SCO Principal Conductor Robin Ticciati’s first appearance in the Great Hall. He will be joined by Veronika Eberle, who is widely regarded as one of the most promising violin talents to emerge from Germany in recent years. Veronika gave her concerto debut at the age of 10 and since then has appeared with some of the world’s finest orchestras.
