Mary Queen of Stamps

Neil Oliver with a new set of stamps celebrating the Stewart Kings and Queens. The first stamp featuring Mary Queen of Scots has been produced by Royal Mail. It is part of a new set of stamps celebrating the Stewart Kings and Queens who ruled Scotland until the early 1600s. To celebrate Royal mail have kindly given us 20 presentation packs to give away. One lucky winner will also receive a pack signed by historian Neil Oliver, who helped launch the stamps at Stirling Castle earlier this week, as well as a signed copy of Roderick Graham’s “An Accidental Tragedy: The Life of Mary Queen of Scots”.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to tell us in which year the baptism of Mary’s son James VI took place.  And to help you along we suggest you visit our timeline.
