Have a Hoot with our Jester, Juggler and Owls
Join us for a fun-packed Easter Weekend as our jester, juggler and other entertainers take over the castle. Easter Revelry is the ideal way to put winter behind you and leap into spring. We have a colourful cast of costumed characters all itching to crack jokes, show off magic tricks and get you mixed up in their antics. Aimed at all the family, it’s three days of fun and frolics for all the family from Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th of April.

Historic Scotland Events Manager Nick Finnigan said: “We’ve got a fantastic line-up of entertainment in store. There will be a jester and juggler, a puppet show based on tales from Scottish history, music and dancers, and a hilarious panto-style comedy show featuring Baron Hardegg and Squire Softboiled – characters who were a huge hit at our previous popular Easter events. As well as all that, we’ll have a World of Owls interactive display, offering visitors a chance to see a range of different types of owls, and watch some of these fascinating birds of prey taking part in flying displays.”
Easter Revelry is included in the standard ticket price for the castle adults, £9.00, Concessions £7.20, Children £5.40, and entry is free for Historic Scotland members. Events take place from noon to 4pm each day.
