Scottish Heroes - there can be only one!

We want you to tell us who your Scottish hero is and why.  It doesn’t have to be a historical character, it can be any Scot who you think deserves to be recognised for their work or achievements.

What can I win?

The winner will receive a special VIP day out to Stirling Castle for them and their family which will include entry to the castle, lunch in the Unicorn café and £100 to spend in the castle shop.  You will even have a special audience with a member of the Royal Stewart Court!

In addition everyone who enters the competition will be put into a prize draw to win a year’s family membership for Historic Scotland.

Easy! Just tell us in no more than 100 words who your Scottish hero is and why.

Or if you're feeling creative why not submit a photo or short video explaining your choice. You could even dress up as your hero in the photo or video!

Please put "Scottish Heroes" in the caption field of the entry form along with your selected hero. For example "Scottish Heroes - Chris Hoy"
