Apparently spring is upon us although last week it felt like summer and this week closer to winter. However the daffodils around the Castle Rock are the best indication that Spring is here! We are about to start an exciting new visitor season at Stirling Castle, kicking off with a fabulous Easter weekend with a family fun event during the day and an evening exploring some of the darker side of magic.
We have also brought back the popular photographic exhibition in the Nether Bailey which highlights the role of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders within the Castle and this is complemented by military themed tours throughout April.
This is just the start of a very busy season of entertainment and events, many of which have been organised in support of the ‘Year of Creative Scotland’ programme. To keep up to date with what’s happening at Stirling Castle sign up now for our e-newsletter.
Last year was a fantastic success with the re opening of the Palace and a dramatic increase in visitors to enjoy the new experience at Stirling Castle and we are all looking forward to welcoming even more visitors this year.
