This weekend we will be debuting our new Burns Castle Tour in honour of Scotland’s best loved bard. Rabbie’s connections with Stirling run deep and he was greatly influenced by the personalities, events and issues associated with the castle.
The tour will take in the magnificent buildings of the castle and will explore how Burns’ visits inspired his work including the infamous Stirling lines. Our guides will also give passionate orations of his work including Scots Wha Hae, Killiecrankie and Tam O’Shanter.
The Burns Tours are just the beginning of many new themed tours that will be on offer through out this year of “Creative Scotland” and demonstrate the depth of knowledge, passion and diversity of the team at the castle.
The tours will be held on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd January at 12 noon and 2pm each day and are on a first come first served basis.
