We love it when people get in touch with stories about why the castle is special to them – even better if they’re romantic. So when Noemi Madai contacted us recently there were lots of appreciative oooohs and aaaaahs. This is what she said:

ear Team,
My name is Noemi. I'm a 24-year-old Hungarian girl and I'm writing to you, because I've a story I'd like to let you know. Two days ago I visited the Stirling Caste with my boyfriend Mark. It was a lovely part of our holiday and we couldn't wait.
The castle was more beautiful than we expected - we loved even the way up to the castle - everything was just amazing specially the view from the top. It was impressive! When we were on the very top of the castle wall I couldn't stop taking pictures of everything. Then my boyfriend turned to me and asked me to marry Him! He proposed me on this incredible place and of course I said 'yes'. We are getting married next year and I'm very sure that I'm NEVER gonna forget your castle. Stirling Castle's given me one of the most beautiful days of my life.
