We’re feeling quite proud this week as our website has won the Best Website Award in the 2009 CiB Scotland Awards. (Communicators in Business). The judges said "the website is well designed, easy to navigate and makes use of good images” which we were delighted with!
Many thanks to all those involved, in particular Ruth Paterson, eCommunications Officer who is this website’s driving force. We are extremely happy with the result and it just goes to show that with dedication and even modest resources we are able to achieve outstanding results.
It’s also the second time Historic Scotland have won an award in this category (Edinburgh Castle website won last year) so we’re really pleased that our websites are being recognised for keeping our visitors informed and entertained!
